This blog chronicles the lives of the Caffee Clan: Brian, Kelly, Josh, Jason, Lauren and Katelyn as we navigate life as a large, loud, military family that lives on the verge of complete chaos! I'm Kelly, AKA "Mom", "Mama", "Babe" or the "1SG's wife", I am 37, a stay-at-home-mom that dreams of someday working in the marketing field. I love photography, scrap booking, healthy eating and cooking, my family, music and dancing!! I have a fetish for gross medical stuff, like unusual diseases or strange growths, and sometimes I wish I was a midwife. As you read, you might notice that I have an slight obsession with cleaning and germ-avoidance, but do not fret, I am aware and I am working on it. And I love making lists! I have lots of opinions about lots of things and this is what is represented here! I'm not always right (wait, I'm NOT??) but I always have something to say!!!

Awesome Post #4 - Cheerleader

I was a cheerleader in high school.
I was.
Those were my glory days.
(Yeah, not so much.)
I cheered for the wrestling team.
Didn't know they had cheerleaders?
Well, now you do.
My school didn't have a football team,
so the options were cheering for the wrestlers
or the bballers.
(That's basketball players, for you non-gangsta types.)
Ahem.

So I chose wrestling.
???????????
I dunno.
I was like 14.
And way more savvy than I am now.

Here's is what I did not look like
when I cheered back then.

My hair was waaaaay curlier...

Get a hold of yourselves.

And while you do, let me tell
you what a Tough Mudder the hubs is.
He did 22 obstacles over
10 miles in
Big Bear, elevation - 7800 ft.
Rock on with your big, bad self, Mr.
He only got electrocuted once
by 10,000 volts.
Not. even. kidding.
Here's a link if you're interested.
All monies raised go to support the
Wounded Warrior Program.
What a freakin' badass!

We are nuts! Brian (aka Brone), my-sis-in-law Anita (she's super badass! 5 foot 1 inch of pure awesome) and Clint (aka Beans)
